The headline regions are Hunza and Skardu, reached through the gateway city of Gilgit. From there we add Fairy Meadows, Naltar, Khunjerab Pass and Deosai. Travel overland on the Karakoram Highway or fly in to save time — most longer trips combine both.

The main season runs May to October. April–May brings cherry and apricot blossom to Hunza; June–August opens the high passes, Deosai plateau and alpine lakes such as Saif-ul-Malook and Mahodand; September–October delivers golden autumn valleys and the clearest mountain views. Fly-in packages start from about PKR 104,000 for a couple, with air tickets charged per seat on top. Multi-region 10–12 day journeys cost more, as do the Executive and Luxury hotel tiers.
