Nathia Gali & Galiyat Tour
Cool pine forests above Murree — Nathia Gali, Ayubia, Dunga Gali and the Mushkpuri trek.
Nathia Gali is the jewel of the Galiyat — a cool, pine-forested hill station between Murree and Abbottabad that sits higher and greener than Murree, with fresher air and fewer crowds. Famous for its walking trails, colonial-era church, and views of Nanga Parbat on a clear day, it is a favourite for families and nature lovers. Our Nathia Gali tours combine it with Ayubia and Dunga Gali for the full Galiyat experience, with transport, hotels and guided walks arranged.
Things to do in Nathia Gali
Nathia Gali is made for walking. The famous Pipeline Track between Dunga Gali and Nathia Gali is a gentle, shaded forest walk, while the Mushkpuri Top and Miranjani treks climb to panoramic ridge-tops. In town, St Matthew's Church, the Governor's House pines and the bazaar are worth a stroll. Nearby Ayubia National Park has a chairlift and more forest trails, making the whole Galiyat a paradise for hikers.
Nathia Gali vs Murree
Nathia Gali sits higher (about 2,500 m) than Murree, so it is cooler, greener and much less crowded, with denser pine forest and better walking. Murree has more shops, food and the Patriata chairlift; Nathia Gali has nature and calm. Many travellers base in one and day-trip the other — they are only about an hour apart, so our tours often cover both.
How to get to Nathia Gali
Nathia Gali is roughly 80 km and about 2.5 hours from Islamabad, usually via Murree, or via Abbottabad on the other side. The mountain road is winding, so a careful, experienced driver makes the journey comfortable — which is exactly what our private-transport tours provide.
Best time to visit Nathia Gali
Summer (May–September) is the prime season — cool, green and perfect for the forest walks and treks, when the plains are baking. Winter brings heavy snow and a quiet, white landscape, though some trails and roads close. Spring and autumn are peaceful and beautiful.
Nathia Gali tour packages
Most visitors do Nathia Gali as a 2–3 day Galiyat package combining Nathia Gali, Ayubia and Dunga Gali, often with a night in Murree. We arrange comfortable hotels in the pines, private transport, and a guide for the Pipeline or Mushkpuri walks. Share your dates and group and we send an all-in quote.

Most Nathia Gali trips are fully customised
We rarely sell a fixed, off-the-shelf tour. Instead we build each itinerary around your dates, group size, pace and budget — and confirm hotels based on live availability for your travel window. Your total package cost comes down to just two choices:
A private 4×4 with a trained mountain driver, sized to your group. For a smooth, comfortable mountain journey we usually recommend the Toyota Prado TZ, though the full range — from sedans to Land Cruisers, Grand Cabins and Coasters — is available depending on your group size.
Choose from four tiers — Standard, Executive, Luxury and Premium. Same route, elevated comfort at each step. Premium and 5★ stays such as Shangrila, Broqand other resorts deliver the best locations and views; these raise the total but are worth it for a special trip.
