Toli Pir Tour
The highest meadow of Poonch — rolling green ridges and 360° Kashmir views above Rawalakot.
Toli Pir is the crowning meadow of the Poonch region — the highest point near Rawalakot at around 2,700 m, where rolling green ridges open to 360° views across Azad Kashmir and, on clear days, distant snow peaks. A small shrine sits at the top, and the grassy hills are perfect for walking, picnics and camping. Our tours combine Toli Pir with Banjosa Lake for a complete, peaceful Poonch escape.
About Toli Pir
At about 2,700 m, Toli Pir is a series of open, grassy ridges topped by a shrine, with wide-open panoramas in every direction. Cool and breezy even in summer, it is a favourite for day hikes, sunset views and camping under the stars, far from the crowds.
How to get there
Toli Pir is about 30 km from Rawalakot, which is roughly 4–5 hours from Islamabad. The last stretch is a rough track, so a capable vehicle and driver help. Our packages include suitable transport for the meadow road.
Best time to visit
Summer (May–September) is the season — green meadows, cool air and clear views. Autumn is quiet and golden; winter snow can close the track. We plan trips for the open, green window.

Most Toli Pir trips are fully customised
We rarely sell a fixed, off-the-shelf tour. Instead we build each itinerary around your dates, group size, pace and budget — and confirm hotels based on live availability for your travel window. Your total package cost comes down to just two choices:
A private 4×4 with a trained mountain driver, sized to your group. For a smooth, comfortable mountain journey we usually recommend the Toyota Prado TZ, though the full range — from sedans to Land Cruisers, Grand Cabins and Coasters — is available depending on your group size.
Choose from four tiers — Standard, Executive, Luxury and Premium. Same route, elevated comfort at each step. Premium and 5★ stays such as Shangrila, Broqand other resorts deliver the best locations and views; these raise the total but are worth it for a special trip.
