Luxury Pakistan Tours
5★ stays, private Land Cruisers and handcrafted Gilgit Baltistan itineraries.
What makes a Pakistan tour package 'luxury', and who runs them?
In Northern Pakistan, luxury means the best available hotels — Serena, Shangrila and comparable properties — a private Land Cruiser or Prado rather than a shared coach, and an itinerary paced to your group. Pakistan Travellers builds these as bespoke private trips across Hunza, Skardu and by-air routes.
- Private vehicle throughout — Land Cruiser V8, Prado TZ or equivalent, with a mountain driver.
- Hotel tier, route and pace are all adjustable; nothing is a fixed group departure.
- By-air legs cut two days of driving each way to Skardu or Gilgit.
Our luxury Pakistan tours pair the drama of the Karakoram with genuine comfort — 5★ properties such as Serena and Shangrila, private Land Cruisers with experienced mountain drivers, and itineraries designed around you. From Hunza's forts to Skardu's lakes, every detail is handled so you can simply enjoy the view.
What makes a tour 'luxury'
Beyond premium hotels, our luxury trips include a dedicated private vehicle (no sharing), flexible daily pacing, priority bookings, curated dining and a personal point of contact throughout. We can also arrange fly-in by-air legs to skip the long drives.
Where to go in style
Hunza and Skardu offer the region's finest stays, while heritage forts at Shigar and Khaplu let you sleep inside centuries of history. Pair them with a sunrise at Eagle's Nest or a private day on Deosai for an unforgettable luxury journey.
Sample 8-day luxury itinerary
A signature route pairs both flagship regions: fly Islamabad to Skardu, settle into a 5★ lakeside resort, and spend two days on Shangrila, the Kachura lakes and a private Deosai excursion; transfer to Hunza for three nights in a premium view hotel, exploring Baltit and Altit forts, Attabad Lake, Passu and a sunrise at Eagle's Nest; then a heritage night at Serena Shigar Fort or Khaplu Palace before flying home. Every day is private, unhurried and arranged around your preferences.
The luxury difference
Our luxury guests get a dedicated trip coordinator from first enquiry to safe return, priority hotel and flight bookings, curated local dining, and thoughtful extras — welcome arrangements, flexible daily timing and photography stops planned for the best light. Where you'd rather skip a long drive, we build in fly-in by-air legs. The result is the drama of the Karakoram with none of the logistics on your shoulders.
When to travel for a luxury trip
May to October is the prime window. For blossom and mild weather choose April–May; for open high passes, Deosai and the warmest days choose June–August; for golden valleys, crisp air and the clearest peak views choose September–October. Premium properties fill early in peak months, so we recommend booking a luxury itinerary 4–6 weeks ahead to secure the best rooms and flights.

Most Gilgit Baltistan trips are fully customised
We rarely sell a fixed, off-the-shelf tour. Instead we build each itinerary around your dates, group size, pace and budget — and confirm hotels based on live availability for your travel window. Your total package cost comes down to just two choices:
A private 4×4 with a trained mountain driver, sized to your group. For a smooth, comfortable mountain journey we usually recommend the Toyota Prado TZ, though the full range — from sedans to Land Cruisers, Grand Cabins and Coasters — is available depending on your group size.
Choose from four tiers — Standard, Executive, Luxury and Premium. Same route, elevated comfort at each step. Premium and 5★ stays such as Shangrila, Broqand other resorts deliver the best locations and views; these raise the total but are worth it for a special trip.
