Getting to Fairy Meadows
From the Karakoram Highway at Raikot Bridge, a rugged jeep track climbs to Tato village, followed by a 2–3 hour walk (or pony ride) up to the meadows. The jeep section is one of the most thrilling drives in Pakistan and is handled by experienced local drivers.
When to go and what to expect

How much does a Fairy Meadows tour cost?
A complete 6-day Fairy Meadows family adventure by road starts from around PKR 243,000 for a family of five — about PKR 48,600 each — including transport, the Raikot jeep ride, cabin stays and a guide. Longer itineraries that add Hunza or Naltar cost more. The Raikot Bridge–Tato jeep is a fixed local charge that we include and explain up front. Your price depends on group size, season and the standard of cabins you choose — and note there is no luxury hotel at Fairy Meadows; it is cabins and camps, so the upgrade goes on the nights either side.
Sample 4-day Fairy Meadows itinerary
A classic short trip: Day 1 travel from Islamabad along the Karakoram Highway to Chilas or Raikot; Day 2 take the 4x4 jeep from Raikot Bridge up to Tato, then trek 2–3 hours to Fairy Meadows and settle into your cabin for a sunset view of Nanga Parbat; Day 3 optional morning walk toward Beyal Camp and the Nanga Parbat base-camp viewpoint, then descend and begin the return; Day 4 drive back to Islamabad. The Raikot jeep ride explained
The 10–12 km track from Raikot Bridge to Tato is one of the most famous — and thrilling — jeep rides in the world, carved into the mountainside above the Raikot valley. It is driven only by licensed local drivers who know every turn, and the charge is a fixed local rate that we include in your package and explain in advance. From Tato the final stretch to the meadows is on foot or by pony.
